PBS will be airing two Dutton broadcasts in 2016: The regular Dutton show and the Dutton Christmas show.

PBS came to spend a week in Branson to film both productions, spending Monday through Thursday capturing the regular Dutton show, and Friday through Saturday filming the Christmas show.

Michael Schaertl, who directed the TV series Touched by an Angel, came on as director for the filming of the Dutton performances. Much of the filming took place during the live audience performances, but PBS also took behind-the-scenes footage of the backstage environment and of a few numbers on stage with no audience present.

The Duttons had a busy week transitioning from the regular Dutton show to the Christmas show, and PBS caught it all on camera.

Dutton fans should expect to see the regular Dutton program airing on PBS sometime in March or April of 2016. The Christmas program won’t be released until sometime in November 2016. Most broadcasts will air on independent PBS stations.
