I read on another board that the Grand Palace is closed and has let everyone go.. Can anyone tell anything more?

Grand Plalace is to be sold at an auction in Sept. What a shame Hope the new owners will get it going again. Or maybe it will become another Church.

I wonder why?
Was it bad management?
The Oak Ridge Boys made the decision not to play there this year and I wondered why at the time.

There have been several shows close quickly this year, some of those shows were at The Grand Palace.

When I am asked to recommend at Branson Show, I choose The Duttons because I know they will be there in their own theater.

Has anyone bought The Grand Palace yet?
Are the people who own The Titanic Museum going to buy it?
Or is Silver Dollar City going to buy it?

I am not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that yes someone has bought it, but they plan to tear it down. They said it would cost to much to fix it back up to where it needs to be.
