Well, I am so sad, but if you are new to the board, let me encourage you to go see the Duttons in Branson. Then you will see the true talent of each member of this family. DUTTONS RULE!!!

Yep, yep! Still the most-talented in my opinion. Showed true class tonight too! I'm proud of my Duttons!

This must have been such a stressful evening for the Duttons the way they did it. Leaving them standing till the end.

3 acts got passed through that I would not have expected to move on.

They know they are loved and number one with us.

It sure was fun, watching each week and voting!
Thanks, Duttons for taking us along with you for this big ride.

Uh, Ben, maybe you should change the Vote For Pedro shirt.
But I wonder to what?

Well, I don't think they would've let the Duttons win because the Duttons are too American, too above-average, and too classy. You have 1 family who is AMERICAN, works hard, loves each other, loves performing, all married to the same spouse as when they first got married, love their kids and are proud of their kids, don't stoop to perverted displays and gyrations and label it talent, etc. etc. etc... It is just absurd that an American family like this would win a show called, 'America's Got Talent.' Don't get me wrong, there are some class acts still remaining, but it is a little unfair the way AGT represented the Duttons.

I love you, Duttons! Great representation! You showed a very classy image while on the show and I personally thank you for not letting anyone change that about you- even if you could've gotten further by changing what you stand for. **Gives the Duttons a standing ovation**

oh, by the way...you can still keep the trophy...hehe

Love you guys!

I watched tonight and was sooooo sorry when they weren't picked. I felt for Amy and I want all the Duttons to know that their true fans will come to Branson to see them whether they won America's Most Talented or not. They are my favorite group EVER. I look forward every year to being able to see them and see how all the kids have grown and how everyone is doing. Please don't let this get you down. We all think you are the BEST

Ditto to all of that. Jana and I had a nice discussion about this in the car tonight and she put it so eloquently.

In order to achieve certain things in this country, one must compromise who they are and the things they stand for. They may achieve great fame and fortune, but I guarantee you that when their head hits the pillow at night they long for something more...something real and genuine. Something that they could have had all along had they just stayed true to themselves. So in the end, who's better off? The one who stands firm and confident in who they are and what they stand for, that has no fame or fortune, or the one who has it all, but lacks true happiness?

I said all that to say I appreciate people who are REAL. Who refuse to change because it's the popular thing to do. Ok...I'm done preaching. Now if the ushers would come...hehe Only kidding!

Thanks Duttons! It was fun watching and voting!

Postby JanaBanana » Wed Aug 08, 2007 12:34 pm

Hey, Kayla I just thought of a quote from Brad Pitt that would fit nicely into your sermon. hehe. He said something to this effect, "Money doesn't buy happines. Trust me; I know"( I deleted my file that had his exact quote in it. )

By the way...I did see him in person one time...

Yeah, I was EXTREMELY sad when the Duttons did not get to move on to the next round. However, I am EXTREMELY proud of the Duttons because of how far they got into the competition.

I LOVE THE DUTTONS!!!!!!!!!!

We can be proud and happy for the Duttons that they made it to the top 10.
We can also be glad that they will soon be back in Branson doing the show full time again, until the end of the season and they head for AZ again.

I was so disappointed that you guys didn't make it through that round... You guys really should have made it.

Anyhow, you guys did a great job, and we look forward to seeing you all again next summer on our way through the area.
