So, how do you start a fan club? I would love to get one going for the Duttons....I'm their number one fan.....although some of you would beg to differ with me, right????

We have talked some about organizing a fan club and dedicating a section of our website to the fan club, however, there are still no plans as of yet.

For now, this forum is kind of Dutton fan club central.

Let me ask everyone some questions:

If there were a Dutton Fan Club, how do you think the fan club should function? What do you think it should do?

We do have an informal Dutton Fan Club here with the Forum you make available to us.
Here are some of the Perks of Membership I have enjoyed:

I like going to see The Dutton Show and saying..."I'm Aurora" and The Duttons know who I am because The Duttons read this Forum..
:lol:

And I like visiting with other Dutton Fans here online at all hours of the day and night.

And I like helping to plan a Fan Forum Gathering and then coming to Branson and so I can meet other Duttons Fans for a Meal and then we all go to The Dutton Show as a group and then from the stage a Dutton announces our presence at the show during the intermission.

All these things have happened because of The Dutton Fan Forum.

Deblet and I did talk about the fan club a few weeks ago when we were stayed at the Inn and saw the show.

We kind of drew a blank on what needed to be done???? Some of your names came up as people we wanted to be involved.

Yes this fan forum IS the fan club more or less. I think we need to just continue doing what we are doing what we are doing and having the Gatherings at different times. I for one have not been able to work out getting to come for one yet.

The Osmonds do Meet and Greet days, It would be fun if we could do something like that where there would be a dinner at the Deli earlier well before the show in order to give the Dutton Family the time they would need to go get ready and get the kids ready for the show perhaps a 4.30 late lunch early dinner.

It is fun when you go up to one of the Duttons and say Im linda from the fourm.

It got me a hug from Ben one time.

The first time we saw the show I went to Judith and said "Jean" told me introduse myself, Before I could answer Judith said "Oh you must be Linda" That was fun we struck up a nice friendship right there.

The first things that needs to be done is to set a date for the next Fan Fourm gathering. Well enough in advance so we can plan aheard and make our reservations etc. MIght be fun to make a weekend gathering where we do two or three things. See the Duttons and Island Fire.

Those are my thoughts.

I think it would be great to have a fun club, but think this forum is good for now.
~I love going to the show and being able to be recognized by the Duttons.
~I still haven't been to a gathering, but would love to go!

I love coming to this site every few days and read about what's going on. I dn't contribute all that often, but know that I am also an absolute Dutton fan. I think this forum is a great way to keep up with the Duttons and everything that is going on in their world. I would love to make it to a forum gathering.....maybe next time

I'd love to have an informal meet and greet thing. Maybe where the Duttons could sing some of their own music. Or just sit around and eat buffet at Golden Corral. :lol:

One of my best experiences in Branson was last year when we did the fan club "meeting." Looking forward to doing it again sometime this year!

Their are many options that could be done if a and or when a fan club is formed.

Possibilites could include prefered seating at the shows or discount tickets, meet and greats with some of the family. The entire family would be hard. Also, have a few set times per year where forum members/ fan club members could have a gathering so we can plan our trips and hotel stays. :!:
